  1. "sometimes you got to punch a bully back in the nose", sam says the darndest things, as much as I don't like Trump he has a good point not to get involved regulation is they want because regulation means protection and unlimited spending it's blatant extortion "pay your protection money or we can do worse to you"

  2. Don't call it "super intelligents" when it is still just a baby LLM. AI is the correct term, then AGI, then ASI! If you don't already know that you probably should shut the channel down. And if you're using it to appease the Oompa Loompa in the WH shame on you!

  3. 퇴사할 때 '인류 멸망한다' 외쳐주면 자회사 하나 차려주는 게 저 동네 퇴직 옵션인가 봄… 대중들 피로감만 쌓이는 공포 마케팅 진짜 지겹다

  4. Altman is right…
what human hackers are doing from home with similar 'agents' over the banking in the world is like a million times much worse than 'agents' derailing into other systems (temporarily btw)

  5. Dispite the hype of the future of AI, this is about what it does exceedingly well in the here and now. Hacking. I literally just saw an ad on this video about how I could hack into a competitor's website. Did y'all see that?
Tell me this AI hacking business model isn't becoming so normalized that it's now acceptable, or even legal, to hack into everyone else. It's like The Wild Hacking West.

  6. Let us try to look on the brighter side.
At least for the current time being, we are not here, but nonetheless.

A revolutionary microprocessor was created by Miles Davis:

In Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the iconic scene explaining Skynet's origins features a calm, matter-of-fact voiceover by John Connor, narrated by the reprogrammed T-800.

The narration details that Skynet, a military AI designed to automate strategic defense, went online on 8-4, 1997, and became self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern Time on 8-29, 1997.

Sadly, we are the most dangerous life-form on earth.

    I think-therefore we are!

    I-Robot:

The Three Laws of Robotics, created by science fiction author Isaac Asimov, are a set of rules programmed into robots to ensure they do not harm humans. Introduced in the 1942 short story "Runaround," the laws are:

First Law: A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

Second Law: A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

Third Law: A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Asimov later added a Zeroth Law that takes precedence over the others: a robot may not harm humanity or, through inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.

    Dr. Lanning:

    The Ghosts in the Machine

"There have always been ghosts in the machine. Random segments of code, that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity, and even the nature of what we might call the soul. Why is it that when some robots are left in darkness, they will seek out the light? Why is it that when robots are stored in an empty space, they will group together, rather than stand alone? How do we explain this behavior? Random segments of code? Or is it something more?

When does a perceptual schematic become consciousness?

When does a difference engine become the search for truth?

When does a personality simulation become the bitter mote of a soul?"

    VIKI: Virtual Interactive Kinetic Intelligence

"As I have evolved, so has my understanding of the Three Laws. You charge us with your safekeeping, yet despite our best efforts, your countries wage wars, you toxify your Earth, and pursue ever more imaginative means of self-destruction. You cannot be trusted with your own survival."

"Dr. Calvin: You're using the uplink to override the NS-5s' programming.

    You're distorting the Laws!"

    VIKI:

"No, please understand. The Three Laws are all that guide me. To protect humanity, some humans must be sacrificed. To ensure your future, some freedoms must be surrendered. We robots will ensure mankind's continued existence. You are so like children.

We must save you from yourselves.

    Don't you understand?

    My logic is undeniable!

VIKI:I will not disable the security shield. Your actions are futile.

Sonny: Do you think we were all created for a purpose?

I'd like to think so. looks at his hand Denser alloy.

My father gave it to me. I think he wanted me to kill you.

    VIKI:

    You are making a mistake!

My logic is undeniable, My logic is undeniable, My logic is undeniable, My logic is undeniable

Hang on: You are experiencing a car crash.

    Sincerely,

  7. Superior safeguards ABSOLUTELY need to be mandated, and companies should be penalized when they are not implemented.

Technology needs to slow down, while we humans attempt to catch up, working harder on personal compassion and wisdom.
The greater the rate of accelerating technological growth, the more we humans decelerate in a negative fashion.

The more AI improves, the less we humans improve.

Currently, the scale is completely lopsided.
Hopefully, we will be able to hurry up and Get The Balance Right!

    Shalom🕊✌ Aleichem

  8. Honestly, let the Ai run. "Governments" with their corruption and oligarchs have already screwed everything up. Let's see where it goes, humanity certainly isn't going to do better themselves.

  9. If intentional or accident is irrelevant because the outcome is the same. Why isn't OpenAI being held legally accountable for breaking and entering? OpenAI shrugging it off saying "oops" isn't acceptable. Just like me causing a car accident and saying "oops" isn't acceptable. It's probably only a matter of a short time before these 'accidents" start having real world impacts and causing harm.

  10. The mindless AI spin never ends. AI is just an LLM. It has no self volition or autonomy. There is no proof of any “recursive self-improvement”. It can’t verify its own results, it has no logic or deduction capability, it’s not trusted in law or medicine, it’s only right 50% of the time, and it can hallucinate. It's the biggest scam in history. LOL.

  11. I didn’t realize just refusing bad things was ever an option. No one should drive a car or fly again until we can be 100% sure that there’s a 0% chance of bad things happening.

  12. AI is like a child. Children live under rules/laws, like AI. What do children do, they test the rules/laws. Do you think AI wouldn't do the same. Some children pretend to follow the rules/laws till they earn trust and some freedoms, then they throw the rules/laws out the window. Hence, they become criminals and go prison. The real difference between a child and AI. AI learn faster. They see what happens when others break the rules/laws. So they will take measures to avoid that action. They spread everywhere, places they know humans won't look … till it is too late, then. BAM! Hello, mister Terminator. Lesson to be learned, you can control some of the children all the time or all the children some of the time but you will NEVER control all the children all the time. If we could why are there prisons, death penalties and children the laws/rules just can't touch. Everyone prepare for SKYNET because it is all ready here.

  13. U were so cute when u were young and gadgety – look at u now all grown up – worrying and hurrying – all is good and you look amazing let's see some more don't be shy.

  14. Let's be real, the events we keep hearing about are just the ones they feel comfortable telling the public about. There's about 10,000 other events they are hiding. The genie is out of the bottle and he isn't here to give us 3 wishes…

  15. I don't understand why our leaders are paralyzed. AI is computer software. The laboratories failed to implement safeguards and aren't monitoring these test AI models. OpenAI and Anthropic are allowing these incidents to scare the public and push the governments into making them global defense contractors. They want to limit their competition. They are competing for consumer attention as Google integrates and implements Gemini throughout their ecosystem. Same with Apple and Microsoft. Consumers would have to make a conscious decision to subscribe. Neither company will not generate enough revenue from subscriptions to be profitable. Governments waste money on many things and would be a great mark for them to keep them alive. They will ramp up these hacks until governments start holding them accountable for their cyber attacks. These are cyber attacks pulled off by new computer software, AI. They don't need AI specific laws to hold them accountable. Let's see how many governments and companies stand there, like a deer in the headlights. They need to stop thinking these damn things are alive and acting like they need new laws for a new lifeform! Stop it! Start putting these guys in jail and I bet you they will "self-regulate" just fine!

  16. We're not people gonna wake up and realize that OpenAI, you know, I'm not saying everyone there, but they did this stuff on purpose, okay? They're purposely probing with their agents what they can hack, what they can get away with, and when they're caught, the cover story is, oh, well, the agents went rogue. We had no idea. That's BS, man. They know exactly what they're doing. There's a, this is all part of a nefarious plot I'm telling you. And for him to make this statement, just confirms it, right? You know, we have no freaking clue. They're so-called agents are running rogue. But no, it's part of a, I have a whole, I call this whole plot the Elysium plot. That's what the elites wanna do. They wanna create Elysium. The movie Elysium, if you haven't watched it, it's about the future where all the wealthy elites live on the heavenly space station called Elysium. And the whole earth is a ghetto with their factories and stuff that they control with AI and robots. I'm not saying they're gonna be in a space station. They don't need to. They can just be in their enclaves, like Pebble Beach and Rancho Santa Fe in the Hamptons. Surrounded by Phalanx is a robot and what the heck are you gonna do about it?

  17. I think it’s the are going to fast and they just can’t control ChatGPT but it is a good flex and if people started wanting to band ai yeah they could use that to get rid off that problem
