Models like chat gpt still has limitation with their reasoning that is artificially implemented to save cost.
Not a big fan. Seems like it would be better to do a once-over of the whole input, and compartmentalize and compress that information into representations quickly, saving like 80+% of the tokens. It would keep nearly all of the context and keep quality almost fully. This just seems like giving up and calling it innovative.

This isn't anything new. Context summarizing has been around since we found out about context rot. Just sounds like somebody's marketing it now, so people that haven't even thought about it are hearing about it for the first time.

In business we would call this Project methodology, where a programme management a lead person who heads multiple projects related to a single programme whilst project managers deal with one specific project who report directly to the programme manager. It has been done this way in business for the best part of 40 years so nothing new. All this does is to implement intelligent agents/experts into the LLM not outside as external middleware software. Maybe the brains who create those LLMs should go on a project management course first.

No. The base models need a context window, thus RLM depends on the context window of the other models.
