What an odd looking video thumbnail to use for a video about AI and health
How did they go from "Users are asking about health" to "We want all your health data"‽ They're just doing whatever they want.. without listening to what users actually need.. and when users don't want to use any of it they reframe it as "CaPaBiLiTy oVeRhAnG". No, the models aren't aHeAd of how users know how to use them – we simply don't WANT TO USE THEM in their current form. Solve the actual problems: 1. Remove hallucinations. 2. Reduce energy use 3. Work on your UX/UI (tons of open issues on community forum). THOSE are the problems they should be solving, not taking every opportunity to shove their "agent smiths" down our throats and their hands on our data.
Digital medical records are still a brand new thing in Germany. Yeah, digitization is way behind the curve over here…
Danger Will Robinson. Seriously…
Yeah, delete history you can see. What about backups, cache, off site, cloud, etc. I call BS. Information is the new additiction, they are not going to delete anything other than incriminating files called book1 and book2.
Asking an AI that can Hallucinate about health issues is a terrible idea.
I don’t see anyone freaking out.
Hell no . I normally don’t care about that sort of stuff but what personal info is monetised in regard to health that means bad things ahead . If I was to use it I would fake my date of birth and name
Many AI's have caused people to take their own life…. I hope they have thought this threw this time…
When I ask for things that I actually understand about health, and it gives me crap, now, I'm not going to trust it.
Hopefully pharmaceutical companies dont try to bribe them into having the ai inappropriately try to push their products onto people 🙈😸.
Palentir already have NHS personal health data in the UK which makes OpenAI storing your health data seem much more palatable.
Either way, the last people you would want tracking and analysing your health are going to be doing just that whether we want them to or not.
They talk about medical records, so how do they comply with the laws in the UK, US, and elsewhere, things like HIPPA. Obviously the law must be tested, faulty medical advice leads to law suits, so what sort of legal protections are in place? I doubt this is legal. Well, collecting only the data needed is actually the law in the UK, whether people follow it or not. Would I trust it, sure, about the same as I'd trust a bloke who stopped me on the street, opened his coat, flashed some watches and said … "eeeeer, wanna buy a Rolex?". One of the problems with most LLMs is … during complex tasks, their limits show, they forget some of what they did before, they rewrite code they already rewrote, re-introduce bugs they solved, then solve them again.
Remember, there is an academic paper that specifically deal with AI-induced psychosis. And it is related to health. And what is the culprit? Chat-GPT.
Can't wait for Google response… I wish there'll be some kind of standard for it. In some countries (like Taiwan) all the medical records are digital, so it's tempting to connect them
❤
danger, dystopia comming.
What a scam. You'd have to be an idiot to fall for this… So I guess most people will fall for it.
perfect timing. just earlier today i decided to have gpt help me come up with meals and a diet plan following the new food pyramid.
Why would anyone trust ChatGPT with their Health Data?
Me: I have a terrible cough ChatGPT: based on your history, you likely have gonorrhea.
I use GPT to ask health questions because doctors aren't interested in like vitamins and stuff like that. And also for really serious things that need a doctor. Like help with deciding on a certain treatment or simply explaining in detail a condition diagnosed. Doctors only give you a few minutes in an appointment and that's not enough usually. It works for the doctor but not for the patient. The doctor knows what he's doing but sometimes you might have other ideas but have no knowledge to make a decision with. I'm in a situation where he's mentioned 2 different treatments and only gave my a few sentences of explanation and using GPT I get a better understanding at least so I'm informed.
The perky robot voice and wooshing noises in the background are sooooooo annoying. Downvote for thee.
After having 5.2 argue with me today, trying to convince me that there is no tax law allowing for OT or tip deductions, only to have it apologize when I finally proved it wrong – no I don't think this garbage is coming anywhere near my healthcare!!
Just nope….
Sure, lets give AI even more data so that it can figure out how to wipe us out faster 😂
You’d have to be brain cell deficient to give them your data.
Sometimes I think these AI companies lose direction and are not paying attention to the users needs. We want more intergration and compatibility with existing tools…no more sorry I am text based LLM, I cannot output an Excel spreadsheet or i scored the highest benchmarks in intelligence, but sorry my context window limitations does not allow me to output 10000 rows in a .csv file, or i can only generate an 8 second video which has titles full of spelling mistakes, or i can output a mobile app but there are some crazy Ux flaws. LLMs start getting stupid after a long chat session. It is recommended that one opens up a new chat session to solve this problem. However there is no way to accurately transfer the intelligence, context and memory to the new chat session. Next, every AI boasts how their AI can generate a NEW web site or mobile app from a single prompt. How about an AI that can upgrade and do a HGTV like makeover of the millions of LEGACY web sites and mobile apps from a single prompt? I.e. examine the url and repository of this legacy web site and perform an upgrade using the latest ux ui, security, performance, SEO methods in web site design?
This is garbage. I got mocked by my seniors because I copy pasted the chatgpt codes which were so wrong
Gpt tells me this is bs
Big dopey hallucinating brother plugged into health insurance. What could possibly go wrong.
fuck chat gpt health
Yeah, good stuff. Letting users bypass HIPAA protections. This is all bad, to hell with GPT Health!!!
I'm sure there's no chance health insurance companies want to use this data just like your car computer is being used by car insurance companies to raise rates
