I really don't see where a phone can't be put into the same service, but ok… the best use cases for a device of this type are for monitoring the progression through complex tasks. For example, patients with end-stage kidney disease new to either home hemo- or peritoneal dialysis would benefit tremendously with an AI "nurse-in-the-moment" there watching over the shoulder, prompting next steps, encouraging, correcting, and supporting through the initially complex steps of performing these actions on one's own.
