Why do I want to carry around a pen?
If it is a pen, I could be game. I don't have much fate in those two, but who knows
Yes, but do they sell replacement ink cartridges or you have to buy a new pen when the ink runs out?
I can't wait to watch this device fail in the market!
I lose pens all the time. I would lose this device within a month.
Great even more ram to rob from us
So it's a camera that disguises as a pen taking videos of everything around you?
Lets see… tracks your location, monitors its local environmental conditions, your activity, listens when spoken to, records with a camera, has memory and processing, can speak to you. This thing is basically your phone or watch without the power hungry finger smudged screenwhile being a lot more compact. Only thing is… you need a subscription to use it and then you need to pay for a gsm network sim. Consume and obey is now working both ways.
flop incoming for the general market, but maybe college students will use it to take notes? so far removed from that scene I don't know
Yeah, a smart pen brought to you by stupid people !!!
Its a device that will secretly watch and iisten to all your conversations to gather more data about your environment. it will then know everyone about your work, name of all your officemates, name of your kids, wife, take videos of your mistress, and use that against you to blackmail you.
“Joe-nee” Ives 😂
Hey producer, why don’t you prompt your AI to pronounce things properly?
And why are we even discussing an unannounced product? I turned it off as soon as that was clear.
Sounds like a dud to me.
No one is wanting another device to listen and transcribe what is going on around them.
Despite what they say the device will be glasses.Anything else is DOA
What a waste of time..for the crisis we have been dealing with for years now…
All this time… Nothing for helping Economy yet…
Privacy isn't the problem… use case is. There's very low utility to speaking to a device especially if you're in public where talking is obnoxious and not private. Its just a really bad product design. That's what will kill it. They'd be better off redesigning app UI for AI which is an area that is still under developed.
idk why, but this reminds me of that kinda old movie "her", where a lonely ahh guy falls in love with his AI assistant, bro gets a small ahh phone looking thing from 1930s, and then the AI assistant hires a hookr or something and puts a hologram on top or something? Idk, i stopped watching that movie right before the sex scene, it felt extremely uncomfortable to watch….
I wonder from recently that why we need AI at the first place? Is there anyone who felt so much uncomfortable otherwise AI?
A AI pen i could see work to a point but not. If I could say Pen spell "existential" while I'm writing then it might be ok… but at the same time I got my phone in my pocket to look up spell on a search bar too.
No one is going to use that stupid AI gadget. We already have smart phones.
