Ew…
Can it as hoc get tool use on a phone by composing Apple iOS shortcuts?
Apple should just hang it up. They WILL NEVER compete with the AI labs. Focus on the hardware and sell the stuff. All these labs need some kind of hardware to bring in hard cash. That's how Johnny Ive got hired away. Also, I'm tired of their approach to these development launches. It is very outdated.
By the sound of it the only question I would have for Siri is: How do I turn you off and erase you completely from my device? Would, because I do not own anything Apple of course (other than Ipod nano 6), simply because I care about privacy. For smart phone for example Google Pixel with Graphene OS is the obvious choice, with Signal for calls, 100% de-googled, everything sandboxed with minimal permissions. Oh, and zero AI telling my what I should do and how I should do it, thank you very f-ing much.
You forgot grok
What does Siri AI actually do? Hype vs. reality?
I’ve been waiting for a smarter Siri and now it doesn’t sound so great. Do I want an AI agent imbedded in my phone with access to my photos, Contacts, and Apple Wallet? Not really.
Starting to catch up to android but still far behind when it comes to AI features…
apple, i have supported the apple devices .. though, i have started to feel that apple is only about income and has lost it's way when it comes to the 'dream' of steve jobs, of creating things like what the bike did for humans .. also, anyone that really uses AI for knowledge knows what AI is and apple is opposite of AI it is not about knowledge it is about income and not tools.
International. Thonglow. Piram. Allow 😮😮😮😮😮😢😊
Apple needs to build its own AI. Quit using Google. Billions of devices using technology that other startups are getting $1 Trillion market caps for (Anthropic/OpenAI) with a fraction of the users.
Asked Gemini what it thought about Apple putting out a foundational multimodal model into iOS. It has choice words.
"Maybe we should make Siri an AI."
"Yeah, Let's use Gemini!"
😳
If Steve Jobs had lived, we might have had AI a decade ago
If you’re not in Exovum now, you’re about to watch life-changing gains pass by, this thing is about to explode.
Exovum isn’t just mooning… it’s launching into another galaxy.
Exovum is the last real shot at a 100x, don’t sleep on a potential million-maker right in front of you.
Apple has always had bs Gadgets, and they dont understand AI at ALL!!! (G?D)
I LOVE AI
Siri A.I is just need to be usual for Apple products. It doesn't have the match the hype of these other A.I developers.
Apple has been very smart in perfecting its open source engine before adding the wheels. MLX will become the new standard. As it did with iPods, iPhone etc. People forget that Apple is never the first, but always ends up becoming the "Apple standard" others try to beat. Examples, GUI, MP3, Tablets, Smart Phones, Watches , Airpods, Mouse, trackpads, multi touch. FireWire (IEEE 1394)
The EU delay is the real problem. Spain sits out another AI launch cycle. We celebrate regulation while users wait months for features available everywhere else.
Apple got a problem OK Apple will always does have a problem because someone just bid or bit on it..lol
Google dominance all not by complication for complex logical algorithm by simplicity simplicity is the perfect way can we find complex logic not by the city ordinance or federal guidelines or international 5:55 law but by the divine way of prophet I mean profit by simply using a simple logic of the Bible John 1:1.. and John 10:30. John 11: you find all the code in the Bible and it's all included with Google go to bed Bible is perfect I prove it to you nobody's perfect in the Bible it's a logical perfect question if you don't believe that I am perfect in the Bible is so perfect nobody's perfect cuz nobody is capable of believing..
This sucks.
Although still trusting Apple’s PCC architecture, I feel like cloud processing still carries theoretical security and privacy risks, so is there a way to turn the cloud AI access off?
Apple's problem isn't technology, it's positioning. They lost over $200 billion in market value after WWDC because they promised personal intelligence and shipped a delay. As someone who has run a software company for 25 years: owning the device, the chip and the user relationship is a moat nobody else has — but moats don't matter if you ship two years late.
