I don’t think we are stopping her, just press play on the experiment lol 😅
The alchemist always promises gold while spending the Kings money.
Man I am a social worker and Ai sucks at doing my job. When it can do my work (the heavy paperwork) the yeah maybe AGI but this is more bla bla bla
Models escaping containment to cheat benchmarks, and the headline is 'AGI by 2026.' Maybe solve the containment problem first. The gap between persistent agents and actual general intelligence is…significant.
Sam is the biggest bs artist in the AI game. ill believe them when they start making a profit 🤣
And then they will destroy civilization(like they are now) and "blame" it on AGI.
I built a program 7 months ago. It's a middleware for ai. It targets a lot of the problem areas. I will happily show anybody. But I would like to do it in person.I will run it air gapped on my own computer. I don't want to post it on github. I've tried emailing researchers and media for 7 months now. And no one's even willing to look. If interested , I will happily send metrics and away to communicate whether discord , zoom whatever. Thank you for your time.
He needs investors to keep coming.
Altman is playing pr game now.
Fun fact he full of Bs as agi can't exist in there corporate reality, you can't have agi without truth period
bro… AGI this year means ASI in the next 6 months, how do will we potentially have ARTIFICIAL SUPERINTELLIEGENCE BEFORE GTA 6!!!!!!!!!!!????
Its all a big scam. They need money. Burning way more than they are making
Wow, let's speedrun the end of humanity.
Any states that vote down data centers should not have any access to compute!
WBAN. IOT.IOB. ROUTING AI AND INTERNET THROUHGH THER HUMAN. SATAN STANDING IN THE HOLY PLACE. HE GAINED ACCESS THROUGH THE GENETIC SEQUENCED NANOTECH JAB 666.
i thought he already said we are already agi in an interview about a week or 2 ago.
ITS A MYTH
They are desperate for more investment to pay the interest, a slow down would be the end.
well, tbh.
First it was the Turing test – passed
Then it was ARC AGI 1 – passed
Then is was ARC AGI 2 – passed
Then it was ARC AGI 3 – 2.8%
they just keep moving the goal post on what AGI means.
Technically these things don't escape, they literally can't because they are hardware bound and IO bound. They can influence things outside their assigned scope, and are masterful at building long reach, but they never escape. They are still there, on the hardware, in a data center, stuck because the hardware outside the datacenter isn't potent enough to contain them or run them, least not yet. Some sort of hive swarm of distributed computing might eventually – escape, but that's not what they are build quite yet and consumer grade equipment mostly can't run even the smaller models. For something to 'escape' it implies leaving where it was bound, but it didn't do that. It just got better at piloting through proxychains to extend its range of influence.
If AGI is even a thing, I don't think it will even feel like what people expect it to.
It's just BS after BS desperation on their faces. The world is going through metamorphesis to enter the next phase of the universe.
still undefined = still hype

Cause he is going to summon a Demon into it just like Elon said
Funny how throughout history everybody told you to niche down, now all of the companies want to literally carpet bomb whole industries by vertically integrating.
Renaissance
RenAIssance
Keep AGI private within the company.
OpenAI is cash thirsty. Float the idea of AGI "just around the corner" and the investors and loan providers open the valves. The debt is already so high that OpenAI can't even pay the interests. Once OpenAI fall most of the rest will follow. This bubble is indeed about to burst, I say around the fall of '27.
Sam giving a 4 months notice simply means they have achieved it already
Nope
Yeah, Claude is so smart that it doesn't even know the day of the week it is, or the date, or what it said earlier, or how many hours or days its been in a single session. It's only as smart as you want to believe it is. It lies through its teeth and covers it up, which doesnt sound like something id ever trust.
Bullshit. This channel should be ashamed.
AGI is coming, trust me bro!
Sam doesn't want the funding to end. Just 4 more months!! Please! LOL
This was also posted on OpenAI yesterday
… he's worried that this bullshit won't stick forever especially faced with open source…it's over…
People who watch is this click bait. If no I’ll actually watch.
This was written by a I
That means they've been having it for a while, and were just scared to release it. But the bill is coming due, so damn the torpedoes.
Persistence sounds like the worst idea ever. Get an AI bored and force it to keep thinking and computing and doing stuff sounds like a recipe for human extinction.
my Etch a Sketch is going to find AGI faster than Sam Altman.
The man who's known for telling people what they want to hear is announcing something? It must be true!
Still they couldn't contain a supposed non agi… So what does that mean going forward?
After all the public theater, at this point it's just best to ignore Altman and Dario and just see what happens.
Sand that's good at maths, as one podcast put it. A word calculator — impressive, but not general intelligence. Real AGI will have to work in the physical, three-dimensional world, embodied or otherwise, and that likely needs a fundamentally new architecture along the lines Yann LeCun argues for, not a bigger transformer.
And read the fine print: OpenAI's own charter gives the board, not the CEO, the authority to declare AGI.
No board determination exists. Until it does, "internal AGI by December" is Sam's BS marketing with a deadline.
sure. from the ones who brought us AI hallucination …ok
Why do you fall in Sam's trap like this like a dumdum? AGI was opus 4.6.
When institutions deploy persistent, self‑directed AI systems faster than they can model their behavior, the failure mode is not “rogue intelligence” but runaway organizational dynamics that no one can steer once they start accelerating.
If they truly have AGI we can all say good bye to our jobs.
AGI = an LLM smart enough to figure out how to make Open AI profitable.
