Yes, but how is the censorship?
Yes! Its finally here! I've been making lots of great images from various cool prompts! And now im waiting for Alibaba to release Happy Horse Website demo to try
Transparent PNG was capable before if you wanted transparent images. 6:28
👽 🛸🎙️
If you ask for your image to be on a transparent background, you will get that!
Its crazy good with words.
Amazing how much Jurassic Park's T-Rex design left an imprint on the cultural gestalt
It's good, but it all looks like ChatGPT … it just got this crappy aesthetic
bruh what’d you use for the intro
how did u make the intro? very cool
At a quick glance, before I absorbed the intended context, that "Carcinization" poster brought to mind the idea of a "zombie" style movie where people instead of becoming zombies, become giant crabs when pinched by other monster crabs (it starts with a moderately normal sized one escaping a clandestine research ship that hit the rocks during a storm), with very Cronenbergian body-horror gradual transformations.
Verda placed ads with you? They don’t know what they’re doing b😂😂😂
you gotta say remove the background instead of "transparent"
are we srs
wow! what do you use for your intro and those cool videos?
"I've never seen an image model natively do transparent images." The first version of OpenAI Image Gen can do it, though actually persuading it to use real transparency instead of an opaque checkerboard symbolic of transparency is inconsistent. The Stable Diffusion models can do it with a plugin called Layer Diffusion, which isn't post-processing but actually modifies the network, but that's obviously not native. Ideogram can do native transparency as well.
EDIT I tried to test it in OpenAI's model playground, but it seems their UI is broken as it forcibly passes all the v1 parameters regardless of the model you choose, and v2 doesn't support the "image_fidelity" parameter (that says how much it should stick to the reference image). Then I tried a text-only prompt with the background set to "transparent", and it said the model doesn't support transparent backgrounds, which means either that's another case of v2 doesn't support something v1 did, or the UI is just broken. I don't feel like writing test code to test it through the API right now, so I'm leaving it at that.

Nanobanana pro is still better imo. And grok's image "quality" model is pretty good, not as great, but it's NSFW so that's cool.
its not really not a nano banana killer 🤣its a close second or grabbing nano banana shoulder only
If you could get the edit cut between intro and real footage better would be awesome.
It's quality refinement is lacking hard based on my usage. It's also meh when it comes to doing cars, which was what I was excited for
It'd be nice if they prioritized on reducing the environmental impact of their stuff
Dude, I pressed play and walked away to listen as I grabbed some dishes off the shelf and noticed myself stopping and turning around with the thought “Oh wait, I do t want to miss the intro. Wonder what he did this time”. lol 😂. These things are awesome man and already create a reason to be hooked from the very beginning. Awesome job!
your opening just beat Matt Wolf's for sure.
Transparent images are not new. You have to download the images as a .png and open it in an app or browser that supports the alpha channel. File drag is a file a movement feature, not actually opening the file.

stop taking shrooms, that intro was crazy
gpt 2 cant do a crossbow
Impressive intro
it can do transparency, since a while, but it doesn't always work
The best part about this is we'll have an open source version that is as good in 2 weeks, and one that can run on 12gb of vram in a month XD
GPT has been able to do transparent PNGs for a while. It sometimes gives you the fake checkerboard transparency, but if you yell at it it does work
great news and yes ive been using chatgpt for transparent png images all along, and this new model does the same – really good
Cookies & cream trash can 🍪 🗑️ 🧐 😂😂😂😂
Does anyone know what he uses to make those intros? They're AMAZING!
from api docs: gpt-image-2 doesn’t currently support transparent backgrounds. Requests with background: "transparent" aren’t supported for this model.
I'm guessing we'll have to wait until the rollout is complete before we can actually use it. Also, I've generated images already with GPT, but will I have to start a whole new chat just to use this new generator?
OMFG you are in the wrong business. Superb opening.
