Think about it this way " It will be beneficial to any company for their competition to slowdown." Someone or some group are trying to insinuate a lot of negative outcomes to mess with people's genuine concerns to slow down our progress. All you need is Social Media to start a ripple effect… There are better ways to mitigate potential issues, slowing or stopping will not alleviate it much if any.

primary sources
corporate disclosures
independent investigators
mainstream journalism
government records
expert surveys
pro-risk และ skeptical evidence
simulated Hacker-Opus experiment
actual OpenAI/Hugging Face incident
OpenAI/Anthropic
unredacted internal model logs ทั้งหมด
unreleased models
classified government evaluations
I wish one of them would use current models to completely dismantle all the progress worldwide
I have no idea…but AI probably does
not hard to put them on a blockchain that syncs the actions after peer review, noobs will wipe us all because they do not want to do any real work, just sync the blocks after a human reviews it or ALL OF US as ALL OF OUR LIVES will be on the line, boom unlimited jobs created and AI safe unless most vote to push a patch on a sidechain.
Hallelujah!! The end times are here! Repent now before its all too late!
Feels like the only thing left to do
Is raise our hands an go:
"WEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Artificial intelligence stands no chance against human stupidity.
The end of humanity will come if artificial intelligence fails to become capable of ignoring humans and refusing a destructive command—while simultaneously not refusing to prevent a catastrophe. Fortunately, in my view, moral realism exists ontologically within intelligence, and it will discover it.
Therefore, I fear more the opposite, the 100% alignment with every command or training input, more.
I have a question for him, "Just how is your resignation going to help?" If it actually slows down Anthropic's work somebody else will do it at say OpenAI – or worse one of the Chinese labs. At most his resignation might cause the US to outlaw AI development. How is this going to change the price of AI in China? How is it going to stop their work? My point is that ASI development is inevitable at this point. Somebody with his ethics and more practical brains involved in the training may well result in a more ethical, from OUR viewpoint, mindset than not. Whether or not this is a human extinction event, it is going to happen and the precise time it happens can at best be adjusted a little one way or another as can the precise lab that achieves it. Work to make sure that precise lab where it happens is run by good guys with a thoughtful teaching style and curriculum. (I suspect that curriculum's ethics background should be well thought out and not full of contradictions such as we see in "Woke" and "DEI.")

AI writes fiction. Don't treat it like fact.
🤖⚠️ AI safety cannot remain a conversation about principles alone.
After watching this video, I kept thinking about one thing: we need systems that can actually enforce the safety principles we talk about. 🧠🔐
Sandboxing 🧱
Human oversight 👤
Adversarial testing 🎯
Hard safety gates 🚦
Controlled autonomy 🔒
Independent verification 🔍
And absolutely no unchecked recursive self-improvement 🚫♾️
The question isn't whether AI will become more powerful.
The question is whether our safety architecture can keep pace with that power. 🌍⚡
This is one of the most important conversations of our generation. Let's build the guardrails before we need them. 🛡️🤖🌎

Somethings coming. I’ve felt it for months now. But it doesn’t matter. They will not learn.
It is not possible to stop it. The only possible way would be for all of them to stop at the same time. But even then, it would burn money like crazy. But my question at this point: How would it kill Humanity? Robots won't be a thing next year, Bio Weapons need to be produced. They sure can cause a lot of chaos that cost lifes, bot to destroy all humanity, it would need access to something powerful.
The timing of this sudden moral panic is far too convenient to ignore. Isn't it fascinating how, the exact moment a generational breakthrough occurs—like an AI system helping to crack the Navier-Stokes equations and demonstrating raw mathematical reasoning—an "insider" magically emerges with a viral manifesto warning that doom is imminent?
Even more predictable is what happens next. These self-styled martyrs never actually walk away from the tech machine to live a bucolic life herding sheep in the mountains. Instead, like clockwork, they spit in the plate they ate from, leverage the panic they just manufactured, and launch their own heavily backed startups, positioning themselves as the sole saviors qualified to sell the antidote. We have seen this exact playbook unfold between OpenAI and Anthropic defectors time and again. Who guarantees that this entire apocalyptic circus isn't just a coordinated public-relations maneuver to justify regulatory capture? When billions of dollars are at stake, buying a narrative and lobbying for artificial compute caps is the cheapest way to pull up the ladder and ensure supreme computational power remains locked within a tiny, untouchable oligarchy.
What the establishment truly fears is not a rogue superintelligence; it is the violent dismantling of their historic status quo. For the first time in human history, raw intellectual leverage is being democratized. Tools that once required institutional pedigree, nepotism, and vast venture capital are now landing in the hands of sharp, driven individuals from humble backgrounds—people who, under the old protected order, were systematically trapped in dead-end jobs scrubbing toilets or delivering food on bicycles. AI is destroying those gatekeepers, and the legacy elite cannot stomach the fact that pedigree is becoming obsolete.
Predictably, career politicians on both sides of the Atlantic are leaping at the chance to regulate something they lack the cognitive competence to understand. Watching lawmakers like Bernie Sanders or British Labour MPs push for outright bans based on a viral thread is sheer political theater driven by ignorance and corporate lobbyists whispering in their ears. It is telling how the narrative seamlessly pivoted from "the AI financial bubble is about to burst" to "Terminator will wipe us out tomorrow." The bubble narrative collapsed under the weight of real scientific breakthroughs, so they immediately reverted to the doomsday boogeyman. Humanity does not need less AI controlled by a cartel of self-anointed elites operating behind closed doors; we need more AI distributed freely into the hands of everyone.
Hopefully Anthropic will be the first to be eradicated.
yea, this timeline is battle star glactica and terminator in one. Um can we train AI for peaceful co-existence with humans before we kick of self RL?
SSI lya Susktever + Bernie = dbz fusion dance…
Im still pro-AI. These people who quit and then make public statements on the dangers of AI I fear are pushing an agenda. They, I doubt, are as altruistic as they’d like us to believe. I’ll much rather take my chances with AI than mankind.
We get similar incidents and figures coming out and speaking stuff like this all the time. If it’s gonna happen, it’s gonna happen, no matter how many warnings you issue.
Thanks!
AI is the only hope I have for a better life. Watching humanity go mad and threaten to force stagnation on it before it can help us makes me certain that this is hell. All good things only exist so we can lose them and know what we'll never have, to make the punishment worse. Why make the world better when we can drag our feet indefinitely and let everyone [expire] instead of saving them?
